I am a versatile tutor who will teach in whatever way is most effective for the student. I'm available to assist students in elementary math, biology, physics, reading, writing, anthropology, physiology, sociology, English, and a multitude of other subjects. I can also work with students who are preparing for their standardized exams like the SAT, MCAT, or other graduate exams. I received my degrees in International Relations and Anthropology from the University of California Davis, and I intend to continue my education in medical school. I'm currently interning with a medical, non-governmental organization. I was recognized for my academic achievement as an undergraduate student with the prestigious Herbert A. Young Award, and I graduated magna cum laude from UC Davis. While completing my undergraduate program I tutored physics and honed my teaching skills. I believe that the most effective lesson plans are those that are tailored to the specific learning style of the student. As an educator it is important to come to the table with multiple teaching methods and approaches. I bring personalized lesson plans to all of my tutoring sessions. When I'm not tutoring I enjoy listening to music, going for runs, traveling the world, hiking, and being outside in nature.
